Born as the daughter of two opera singers JOSIN grown up constantly surrounded by music.
JOSIN’s music could be described as a journey through the northern world, a world that inspires and leads her everyday. A world as rich in contrasts as her music. It is rough and cold but full of nutrients and life. And if you wish you can exist in it and slowly but certainly and then forever recognise its beauty.
Before releasing her debut EP in Spring 2017, JOSIN presents today her debut single “Oceans Wait” and B-side “Midnight Sun”. Between elegance and minimalism, both tracks present themselves with a power that presses forward more determinedly. The production sounds open and experimental with electronical and classical elements while letting her natural otherness and intensity express themselves.
After making a notable appearance at Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavic earlier this month, Josin embarked on an headline tour in Germany. She is confirmed to support RY X for 12 shows in Europe, starting on November 20th.
